Perez Hilton: ‘Fame has poisoned Lady Gaga’
By Josh Haggis

Perez Hilton has claimed that fame has “poisoned” his former friend Lady Gaga.
The once close pair famously fell out in 2011, and have had a number of public spats since – most notably last year, when the popstar accused Hilton of “stalking” her in New York.
The notorious gossip blogger has now claimed that the spat began during an interview where he asked the Bad Romance singer about her boyfriend, American actor Taylor Kinney.
“Actually, all the drama went down in Australia in the summer of 2011,” said 36-year-old Hilton during an appearance yesterday (June 25) on Aussie breakfast show, Mornings.
“She proceeded to get obliterated drunk, drinking Jameson, and she was a surprisingly functioning drunk woman. The fact that I brought up her boyfriend made her livid and she stormed off the set and stopped the interview.”
“I think it was fame that just poisoned her,” he continued. “She had an album, Fame Monster, her second album, and she became consumed by that which she was fascinated about. You know, fame can be a very deadly drug and it has damaged her personally.
“I think she has unfortunately become a victim of this character she created. Instead of being an artist she became this freak and this cartoon character and so unrelateable to people.”
Meanwhile, Gaga became the subject of controversy last week recently when sexually provocative clips from her unreleased music video Do What U Want leaked onto the web – click here for the full story.
