Orville Peck gives fans a glimpse into Street Fighter movie as tickets go on sale
Based on the 1980s Japanese video game franchise, Peck plays Vega, the masked antagonist in the Street Fighter franchise

Orville Peck has given fans a glimpse into the upcoming live-action Street Fighter movie, enticing them with a behind-the-scenes look – and plenty of skin – as tickets go on sale.
Based on the 1980s Japanese video game franchise, Peck plays Vega, the masked antagonist in the Street Fighter franchise and personal bodyguard to the main villain, M. Bison (David Dastmalchian).
In the new film, he joins the cast alongside Jason Momoa as Blanka, Noah Centineo as Ken Masters, Andrew Koji as Ryu, Callina Liang as Chun-Li and Roman Reigns as Akuma.

The film is set in 1993 and follows Ryu and Ken Masters as they reunite for the World Warrior Tournament.
Sharing behind-the-scenes images on Instagram yesterday (21 September), Peck announced that tickets for the Street Fighter film are now on sale, with the film arriving in cinemas on 16 October.
Peck posed with his co-stars Cody Rhodes, who plays Guile, a major heroic protagonist in the franchise; Vidyut Jammwal, who plays yoga master Dhalsim; and Callina Liang, who plays Chun-Li, the first playable female character in the game.
Street Fighter comes out October 2026
The film is being directed by Kitao Sakurai after the original directors, Danny and Michael Philippou, exited the project. Most plot details remain under wraps.
Street Fighter is scheduled to be released on 16 October 2026.
2026 marks a major year for Peck. As well as appearing in the upcoming live-action film, he has released his Mule album and will be performing at the Virgin Atlantic Attitude Awards 2026, in partnership with M&S and electrified by Polestar, at London’s Roundhouse this October.
