Orlando Harry Potter Victim becomes a Vinyl Pop! wizard figurine to preserve his memory

By Fabio Crispim

Luis Vielma was one of the 49 victims that died in the Orlando massacre by gunman Omar Mateen on June 12.

Vielma, who worked at The Wizarding World of Harry Potter at Universal Studios, has been honoured by being created into a Vinyl Pop! Harry Potter figurine himself.

According to the Huffington Post, Brandon Anderson made the figurine to preserve Vielma’s memory after reading a Facebook post suggesting him to make a tribute doll.

The figurine features Vielma wearing Gryffindor clothing and a wand in his hand.

Vinyl Pop! allows anyone to order blank dolls and Anderson decided to create it for Vielma’s friends and family. Anderson is currently attempting to contact the family to give them the figurine.

Shortly after the Orlando massacre, J.K Rowling tweeted her feelings about the Potter fans death and said she “couldn’t stop crying”.

She later sent a bouquet of flowers along with an emotional message to his funeral last week.
