Nyle DiMarco is a bad ex-boyfriend in Glee star Alex Newell’s new music video

Former Glee star Alex Newell has made us all jealous by nabbing hunky model Nyle DiMarco as his love interest for a new music video.
In the clip for ‘Basically Over You’, Newell is seen taking apparent revenge on his boyfriend, as he belts out the house banger. After a while, we see that the boyfriend in question is none other than DiMarco – last year’s winner of America’s Next Top Model.
Newell was among 34,000 hopefuls who submitted an audition video for Glee in 2011, ultimately appearing in 2 episodes in the 3rd season. before being promoted to a starring role in Ryan Murphy’s hit muscial comedy show.
Openly gay in real life, Newell was cast in the role of Wade ‘Unique’ Adams, a male to female transgender teen, who expressed her female identity through music.
Now pursuing a career as a solo recording artist, the 23 year old maintains his fearless exploration of gender in this new video, where we see him getting dressed up to throw a party for his friends at DiMarco’s house.
The model and actor – who has been deaf since birth – is currently setting pulses racing with his shirtless performances on Dancing With The Stars in the U.S.
As an actor, he has appeared in the ABC show Switched At Birth, and is also set to appear in Difficult People alongside Billy Eichner.
