Lorraine Kelly takes viewers behind the scenes of her Attitude drag makeover – WATCH

ITV viewers were given an exclusive introduction to 'Morning Gloria' on Thursday morning (5 December).

Queen of daytime TV Lorraine Kelly shocked the world when she unveiled her drag alter-ego – the aptly-named ‘Morning Gloria’ – on the cover of Attitude’s January ‘Activists & Allies’ issue on Thursday (6 December).

The beloved broadcaster, who underwent the fabulous makeover with the stars of Channel 4’s Drag SOS, The Family Gorgeous, wasted no time taking viewers of ITV’s Lorraine behind the scenes of her cover shoot yesterday morning, before reacting to her cover girl look live on air.

Lorraine, who in this month’s issue takes aim at transphobic TV debates, Ann Widdecombe and Tory MP (and nemesis) Esther McVey, told co-star Mark Heyes that she had the “best time” on the shoot, which comes four years after she received the Honorary Gay Award at the Attitude Awards 2015.

“You kind of get unleashed – it’s almost like you give yourself permission to be the person you are inside”, the 60-year-old said.

“Did you see how I was posing? I would never do that in a normal photoshoot! But I was just… fierce! I’ve never felt more glamorous, more alive!”

It’s not just Lorraine’s shoot as Morning Gloria that’s going down a storm, however: Her hilarious appearance (in full drag, ofc) in the latest episode of Attitude’s LGBTQ Slang Challenge has also left viewers in stitches as the wholesome Sottish presenter gives some no-holds-barred explanations of terms including ‘Power Bottom’ and ‘Size Queen’.
