After transforming into a country queen for ‘Dancing’ and a salsa-ing siren for ‘Stop Me From Falling’, Kylie Minogue is dialling it down a notch in the video for her latest single ‘Music’s Too Sad Without You’.
Featuring English singer-songwriter Jack Savoretti, the fifth single to be lifted from the Aussie pop princess’s fourteenth studio album ‘Golden’ is a melancholy, sleigh-bell-laden love song that sees Kylie declare: “The music’s too sad without you /
The silence is all I can listen to now.”
The accompanying visual for the track, which was recorded in the aftermath of Kylie’s break-up with fiancé Joshua Sasse last year, sees the singer dolled up to the nines as she pines for her former lover alone in an empty auditorium.
All in all, it’s a fittingly wintry release that’s ripe for a festive misery-fest. Atta girl!
