Scissor Sisters frontman Jake Shears is to assist Kylie Minogue on The Voice next Saturday (March 1).

Shears, who collaborated with the singer on her songs I Believe In You and Too Much, will serve as an advisor to Minogue and her team during the Battle Rounds of the BBC1 talent contest.

Meanwhile, Katy B – currently at Number One on the UK’s Official Albums Chart – will advise Ricky Wilson and his team, while Tinie Tempah will provide assistance to Sir Tom Jones.

will.i.am will be joined by two advisors: Dante Santiago, who also assisted him during the Battle Rounds last year, and Leah McFall, who finished as runner-up on the show last year as a member of his team.

The Voice continues next Saturday at 7pm on BBC One.

Scissor Sisters released their fourth album, Magic Hour, in 2012 and announced shortly afterwards that they were going on hiatus.
