Dame Judi Dench and Joanna Lumley are among the stars who will become cashiers for a charity event in London this week.

They will take part in ‘Shop with the Stars’ at Fenwick of Bond Street in aid of theatrical charity Acting For Others on Thursday (April 10).

Christopher Biggins, Sheila Hancock, Kara Tointon, Natalie Gumede, Maria Friedman and Vanessa Redgrave will also take part, working as cashiers, bag packers and personal shoppers for the evening.

Former Attitude cover star Thom Evans, Emilia Fox, Michael Ball, Jim Carter and Julian Fellowes are also involved.

During the evening, Dench will also give a one-off talk and be interviewed by TV journalist Susanna Reid. Tickets for the talk cost £100, with all funds raised going to the charity.
