Speaking about his decision to reach out to his gay fanbase, he said: “My views on a lot of things has changed over time – that’s the case with anybody when you’re in your most impressionable years, figuring out who you are and what you believe in.

“I feel like that’s been the biggest growth for me, just figuring out what my belief system is and who I am within that. Embracing my gay fan base has been a major part of that and so fulfilling for so many reasons.”

“I went to a couple of gay clubs in New York City around the time my single launched and just partied there with them and it was awesome, we had a really fun time.

“I just did a small tour in the US just to get my feet back into it and it was great to see how many more gay fans came out for shows, but they were just ready to party!”

On his decision to flash the flesh for the crowd, he said: “[laughs] After a few drinks anything can happen!”

Meanwhile, Jonas also said that he doesn’t feel the need to shave or wax his body hair as being natural is the “beautiful thing about being a man” – read more here.
