JoJo Siwa has said she’s “never been so happy” since coming out over the weekend.

The hugely influential YouTuber, who says she’s not ready to label her sexuality, has seen stars such as Ellen DeGeneres and Paris Hilton show their support since the announcement.

JoJo is known for her appearance on TV show Dance Moms, and songs such as ‘Boomerang’ and ‘Kid In a Candy Store’.

“Best. Gay. Cousin. Ever.”

The star first sent the web into overdrive last Friday when she tweeted a picture of herself in a t-shirt bearing the words “Best. Gay. Cousin. Ever.”

It has been liked over 1.3 million times and counting.

She also shared a TikTok of her singing the LGBTQ anthem ‘Born This Way’ by Lady Gaga.

Addressing the news in an Instagram Live video yesterday, JoJo said she’s “never ever been this happy” since going public about her sexuality.

Responding to a fan’s question asked about “labels”, she said: “I don’t really know this answer. I think humans are awesome. I think humans are really incredible people.

“Right now, I’m super duper happy and I want to share everything with the world, I really do, but I also want to keep things in my life private until they are ready to be public.

“Right now, what matters is that you guys know that no matter who you love, that it’s OK. It’s awesome. The world is there for you.”

Talk show queen Ellen responded to JoJo’s original t-shirt tweet with a love heart emoji, while DJ Paris Hilton said: “Love you itsjojosiwa. I’m so proud of you sis!”
