Jeffree Star hospitalised after ‘severe’ car accident, shares pictures of wreckage

Jeffree Star was hospitalised over the weekend after being involved in a “severe” car accident.

The make-up guru and his friend Daniel Lucas shared pictures from hospital after the incident, with a rep saying: “[We are] so grateful they are both alive.”

Jeffree has also shared pictures of the wreckeage of his Rolls-Royce after it flipped three times upon hitting black ice.

“We will update you all when the doctor gives us more info”

Announcing the news on Jeffree’s Twitter page, a tweet said: “A few hours ago Jeffree and Daniel were in a severe car accident and the car flipped 3 times after hitting black ice.

“We will update you all when the doctor gives us more info. So thankful they are both alive.”

In a subsequent tweet, the vlogger said: “The pain is 10 times worse than yesterday but we are doing ok. Love you guys so much.

“Daniel is flying back to Las Vegas today so he can get surgery done by his specialist there.”

“This morning was one of the scariest moments of our entire lives,” he said in another statement. “I’m so grateful to be here still.

“I’m in excruciating pain because part of my back is broken and I have vertebrae fractures on my spine.

“My doctor said it will take a few months but I should make a full recovery.

“My best friend Daniel has internal injuries and because he has survived colon cancer three times, he’s having complications with his organs and they’re monitoring him 24/7. We’ll know more soon. Thank you to every single person checking on us.”

Jeffree – known for his succesful cosmetics line – also shared pictures of his wrecked Rolls-Royce, saying: “This was hard but I had to go see my car today. Thank God a #RollsRoyce is built with highly reinforced steel because it saved our lives.

“Time to heal and let my body repair.”

The star has since said on Instagram that he is back home and “bed-ridden” while recovering in Wyoming.
