Glee
creator Ryan Murphy has become a father for the second time.
Murphy and his husband, David Miller, welcomed a healthy baby boy, born recently via surrogate. The couple previously became parents to first son Logan on Christmas Eve in 2012.
“His name is Ford. I brought him home today from the hospital and Logan gave him kind of a side eye,” Murphy told E! News. “For 21 months, Logan has been the light of my life and now there are two.”
The American Horror Story showrunner continued: “It’s amazing to be two dads and we have a wonderful surrogate. It’s so uplifting and I’ve enjoyed sharing our story with young gay families.”
“It was an amazing birth. 37 weeks and a day and he was a chunkier – 7 lbs 13 oz. David and I were there and pulled him out and cut the cord and cried and it was pretty amazing.”
Murphy’s American Horror Story: Freak Show will premiere in the US this Wednesday (October 8), before beginning in the UK on Fox on October 21. Watch the trailer here.
