The first trailer for the upcoming Christmas movie Last Christmas has been released.

Starring Emilia Clarke and Crazy Rich Asians’ star Henry Golding, the movie was written by Emma Thompson and Bryony Kimmings and directed by Bridesmaids director Paul Feig.

It was previously reported that the screenplay was in development with the former Wham! frontman until his untimely death on Christmas Day in 2016.

The original script contained the kind of “queer politics” which Michael – who was found dead in his home by long-term boyfriend Fadi Fawaz – was interested in, however, judging from the new trailer the ‘queer politics’ seem to be absent.
