‘Peach’, the latest single from New Zealand indie-pop sibling duo BROODS, has been given an fresh injection of pop magic by MUNA.

The uplifting electro-pop track, which serves as the first single from BROODS’ upcoming third studio album, has been remixed by the queer LA pop trio ahead of the record’s expected release in early 2019.

MUNA’s Naomi McPherson says of the reswizzle: “I love when we get asked to do remixes for a variety of reasons, of course… but specifically because it allows me to explore instrumental/production techniques that maybe I haven’t tried yet for our own band’s project.

“It’s delightful when a great band like BROODS is down to give you the freedom to see a track from an entirely new perspective.

“The original song is fun so it wasn’t at all hard to enjoy the process.”

BROODS, who are currently supporting Taylor Swift on the Australian and New Zealand leg of her 2018 Reputation Stadium Tour, are set to come UK later this month for a gig at The Dome in London’s Tufnell Park.
