By Sam Rigby

star Luisa Bradshaw-White has confirmed that her character will try for a baby in a new storyline.
The actress – who plays lesbian Tina Carter on the BBC soap – revealed that her character will remain with girlfriend Tosh for the foreseeable future, despite her connection with Sonia Fowler (Natalie Cassidy).
Asked on ITV’s This Morning if fans can expect her relationship with Sonia to develop further, Bradshaw-White said: “No, not this year. I’ve heard rumours, but I’ve got my girlfriend and we’re going to have a baby. Well, we’re going to try!”
Tina and Sonia have grown close in recent weeks, after Sonia discovered that she has a breast cancer gene.
Earlier this month, Cassidy said that she was “a little bit naive” about Sonia’s previous gay storyline, which she cited as one of the reason’s for her departure in 2007.
Bradshaw-White joined EastEnders in November 2013 as part of the new Carter family, which also features recent Attitude cover stars Danny Dyer and Sam Strike.
