Dolly Parton has argued that people should be able to love whoever they want without fear of judgement.

The legendary country singer discussed her strong and long-standing relationship with her LGBT fans in a new interview with US music magazine Billboard.

“They know that I completely love and accept them, as I do all people,” said Dolly, 68. “I’ve struggled enough in my life to be appreciated and understood. I’ve had to go against all kinds of people through the years just to be myself.”

She then added: “I think everybody should be allowed to be who they are, and to love who they love. I don’t think we should be judgmental. Lord, I’ve got enough problems of my own to pass judgment on somebody else.”

Meanwhile, Dolly recently revealed that she wants to record a dance album for her gay fans – find out more here.
