‘Doctor Who’s lesbian couple to share first on-screen kiss

‘s lesbian couple will share their first on-screen kiss in an upcoming episode of the BBC sci-fi series.
Madame Vastra (Neve McIntosh) and Jenny (Catrin Stewart) will appear in the first episode of Peter Capaldi’s first series as The Doctor, which airs on Saturday, August 23.
According to those who have seen the episode, the couple are under threat from killer droids who sense life forms from breathing. Whilst hiding from the enemy, the couple are forced to hold their breath, but when Jenny struggles Madame Vastra kisses her to help her.
The characters have appeared in the last two series of Doctor Who, and have proved popular with fans. It has been confirmed that they will continue to appear on a recurring basis in the upcoming eighth series.
Capaldi is joined by Jenna Coleman as Clara and new part-time companion Danny Pink, who is played by Samuel Anderson – read more here.
