Disney’s ‘Frozen’ grosses over $1 billion worldwide
By Josh Haggis

Disney’s animated smash Frozen has now grossed over $1 billion (£600 million) worldwide since its release last November.
The wintry film, already Disney’s most successful animated feature ever, is now among the top 20 grossing films ever made.
The only animated movie to take taken more than Frozen at the box office is 2010’s Toy Story 3.
Frozen took home two awards at the Oscars on Sunday night (March 2): ‘Best Animated Feature’ and ‘Best Original Song’ for Let It Go. Idina Menzel took to the stage at LA’s Dolby Theatre on the night to sing Let It Go, which has become a top 20 hit in both the US and the UK.
Disney CEO Bob Igor has recently hinted that more Frozen films could be on their way, saying: “This has real franchise potential”.
Frozen is released on DVD and Blu ray March 31.
