Dannii Minogue performs first UK gig in 9 years

By Shaun Kitchener

Dannii Minogue blew the roof off London’s G-A-Y last night for her first UK live show in nine years.

The Australian hit machine is in the country for a full weekend of performances, with a headline set due to take place at Manchester Pride tonight (August 30).

The former X Factor judge, who now works on the Australian version of the show, dusted off hits such as ‘Love Fight’, ‘Baby Love’ and ‘This Is It’ during her spectacular high-camp set.

Sadly, Cheryl Fernandez-Versini has downplayed rumours that her former colleague is set to join her at the Judges’ Houses stage of the singing contest, telling The Express: “I heard that I was going to France with Dannii Minogue. I don’t know where these people get their stuff from, honestly.

“I love Dannii. I haven’t seen her in years but I believe she’s in Australia doing X Factor Australia.”

Let’s hope she’s bluffing…
