Courtney Love has admitted that her life would be easier if she became a lesbian.

The singer recently discussed her lesbian experiences, saying that songwriter Linda Perry has described her as a “power bottom”.

In an interview with The Sunday Times, Love said she can’t imagine herself not being with men.

“I’ve got cock written all over my brow,” she admitted.

She also revealed that her mother started her on valium when she was seven-years-old.

Asked how long she has gone without drinking, she replied: “What? You mean like AA level? Not really ever. I believe in moderation more. I recently ran into this actor I know who’s big in AA and he said, ‘How are you doing with your sobriety?’ I said I’m fine with my sobriety.

“But like, if I feel I’m going to have a panic attack, I’ll try and chant, I’ll try and do yoga, but if it comes down to it, I’m going to take a Xanax. It’s a light valium — my mother started me on valium when I was seven. And I take Abilify, which is an antidepressant, but not addictive in any way shape or form.

“I drink now and then, but I think I’m going to stop tequila because last time I drank it I ended up sending emails, then having to apologise. So from now my rule is If I’m going to press “send”, it needs to be before 9.30 at night and I need to be sober,” said the 49-year-old.
