Ryan Murphy has teased a revival of the short-lived Scream Queens.

The comedy-horror series starred Emma Roberts, Billie Lourd, Lea Michele, John Stamos, Nick Jonas and the original Scream Queen Jamie Lee Curtis but was abruptly cancelled after just two seasons despite being known for its sharp dialogue, camp set pieces and male nudity – thank you Murphy!

But now, Murphy – who has been busy with Pose, American Horror Story, American Crime Story and Feud – has teased that a revival could be in the works but asked what fans of the show would want to see.

In a post on Instagram, Murphy wrote: “So many people recently have been asking me about rebooting or continuing SCREAM QUEENS (RIP, taken too soon).

“Emma, Billie, Lea and I have mused on it, but question: should it be a six episode limited? A catch up movie? Who should I bring back? Would love your thoughts. So many questions….”

Could it be making a triumphant return?
