Cher is back with brand new live shows for 2017

Her mammoth ‘Farewell Tour’ may have ended 12 years ago, but Cher is showing no signs of slowing down after announcing a series of residency shows in Las Vegas and Maryland for 2017.

Set to kick off in February, the musical icon’s ‘Classic Cher’ shows will take place in the Park Theater at Monte Carlo in Las Vegas and The Theater at MGM National Harbor in Maryland.

“I plan to make this my best show ever,” says the 70-year-old ‘Woman’s World’ singer. “I am extremely excited about both of these new theaters – they are state-of-the-art and beautiful.”

Richard Sturm, President of Entertainment, MGM Resorts International adds: “We have had a successful partnership with Cher and her team for more than 20 years and look forward to continuing this relationship at these two new venues. Cher is a true legend of the industry.”

The Las Vegas show dates for ‘Classic Cher’ as as follows:

February: 8, 10, 11, 14, 18, 19, 22, 24, 25
May: 3, 5, 6, 10, 12, 13, 17, 19, 20.

The Maryland dates are:

March 17, 19, 20, 23, 25, 26.
