Fans of Ryan Reynolds (that would be everyone, then) – rejoice! Deadpool has been released on DVD and Blu-Ray by Twentieth Century Fox, meaning you can re-live the antics of everyone’s favourite pansexual superhero over and over and over again.
In an exclusive new featurette taking you behind the scenes of the hit Marvel movie, director Tim Miller reveals that Reynolds positively chewed up the role, which he says was “made” for the 39-year-old Canadian star.
He adds that Reynolds is “the nicest guy I’ve ever met – but he’s also nasty!”

Deadpool is known to be one of the few pansexual characters existing in the Marvel universe, with one of his creators, Fabian Nicieza, previously announcing: “I’ve been dogged with Deadpool sexuality questions for years. He’s every sex and no sex.”
Miller previously revealed that he interpreted this rather non-committal statement to mean the character was pansexual, and states that in future films, Deadpool could well have a boyfriend – an idea which Reynolds seems very much happy with.
The success of the film, which took $760.3m at the box office, means a sequel has already been greenlit. We say bring it on… and ramp up the man-on-man action!
