Britney Spears announces engagement to Sam Asghari: ‘I can’t f***ing believe it!’

It seems 2021 keeps getting better for Britney Spears: she’s engaged!
The ‘…Baby One More Time’ singer and long-term boyfriend Sam Asghari announced the news on social media last night, with Britney flashing a massive diamond ring in a video.
The engagement follows recent news that Britney’s father Jamie has officially filed to end his conservatorship of the singer after 13 years.
“Of course we’re getting ironclad prenup”
Sharing the video of herself, her ring and Sam on Instagram, Britney said in a caption: “”I can’t f***ing believe it!”
Congrats Britney!
Sam also shared a picture of he and the ‘Toxic’ singer – in which she’s seen giving the (ring) finger.

In an Instagram Story, he added: “My phone exploded today! Thank you for the overwhelming love and congratulations! We both love [every] single one of you!”
The personal trainer also joked: “Thank you everyone who is concerned about the prenup! Of course we’re getting ironclad prenup to protect my jeep and shoe collection in case she dumps me one day!”
Pop icon Britney, 39, and personal trainer Sam, 27, began dating after meeting back in October 2016.

The pair first met on the video shoot for Britney’s single remix of ‘Slumber Party’, featuring Tinashe.
Spears was previously married to Kevin Federline, with whom she has two sons, from 2004 to 2007. She was also briefly married to childhood friend Jason Allen Alexander after a Las Vegas wedding in 2004.
