Bette Midler wants Disney to make ‘Hocus Pocus 2’

Bette Midler has revealed that she wants Disney to make a sequel to her cult favourite from 1993, Hocus Pocus.
Midler, who starred as evil witch Winifred ‘Winnie’ Sanderson alongside Sarah Jessica Parker and Kathy Najimy in the Halloween classic, has told fans that all three leads are on board for a second Hocus Pocus flick.
“You have to go to send in your cards to the Walt Disney company. The ball’s in their court,” Midler said in a Reddit AMA.
“Inundate the Disney company, because I have canvassed the girls and they are willing to do it, but we have no say in it, so if you want a Hocus Pocus 2, ask the Walt Disney company,” she added.
Although it performed disappointingly at the box office upon its release, Hocus Pocus, which follows the evil Sanderson sisters as they seek to attain eternal youth, went on to gain a massive cult after it was released on video.
