Ariana Grande ends Coachella performance with giant rainbow flag
The music festival has been boycotted by artists following anti-LGBTQ stance by owner

Ariana Grande ended her Coachella performance with a giant rainbow flag projection.
The ‘thank u, next’ singer took to the stage during the iconic music festival over the weekend where she performed alongside Nikki Minaj, rappers Mase and Diddy and N*Sync – minus Justin Timberlake.
Despite her performance being plagued with sound difficulties, Ariana ended with a bang – literally as fireworks were set off – and displayed a giant Pride flag across the screens.
Coachella has been hit with controversy over the years after owner Philip Anschutz was revealed to have donated to three conservative Christian organisations who are all pro-gun and anti-LGBTQ.
Many artists have boycotted the festival in protest but Ariana – who is set to headline Manchester Pride this year – hit back at Anschutz with her giant Pride flag and many people have said it was a big ‘fuck you’.
