Ariana Grande and Christina Aguilera tear it up on the final of The Voice

By Attitude Magazine

Legends collided at The Voice USA final last night, when pop songstress Ariana Grande was joined onstage by Christina Aguilera.

The 22 year-old singer started with a rendition of her latest single ‘Into You’, before saying “Christina, take it away girl!”.

And with a fanfare of lights, the 35 year-old Voice coach burst onto stage, leading into a duet of ‘Dangerous Woman’ that had the crowd in rapturous applause.

Grande, whose pop accolades include ‘Break Free’ and ‘Problem’, has expressed admiration for Aguilera, previously stating she almost passed out when she met her on the red carpet in 2010.

Yet it appeared the love was mutual, as can be seen in the pair’s social media:

The duet was reportedly scheduled last minute as a pre-recorded performance by Christina with a hologram of late singer Whitney Houston was cancelled.

Houston’s family expressed they did not want the performance to be aired.

However, the night brought further good news for Xtina, as her contestant Alisan Porter was crowned winner of the show’s 10th season.

This makes the ‘Candyman’ singer the first ever female judge to win on The Voice USA.
