A Spice Girls reunion is ‘not happening’
A Spice Girls reunion has been rumoured and teased since the girls’ breakup but now it seems that all of those rumours have been put to rest.
According to Metro, the girls attempted to get Mel C to join them for their 20th anniversary comeback but it proved unsuccessful.
Despite visiting the studio together, Mel C reportedly said that she doesn’t want to return and never will.
A source said, “Mel C has been telling friends it’s not happening – not for the anniversary and not next year.”
Victoria Beckham has also said that she won’t be returning to the group.
The source continues, “She’s not interested in revisiting the band and neither is Victoria. Their decision has made it impossible for the other three to go ahead with plans to tour again.”
“They know it wouldn’t be quite the same to get on stage as a threesome.”
