Sam Smith on course for No.1 with ‘Money On My Mind’
By Nick Levine

Sam Smith is on course for Number One on Sunday (February 23) with his new single Money On My Mind.
The track, taken from the singer’s upcoming debut album In The Lonely Hour, is outselling its nearest rival – Say Something by US band A Great Big World and Christina Aguilera – by nearly two to one, the Official Charts Company reports.
Smith’s collaboration with Naughty Boy, La La La, was a UK Number One single last year (2013). It is nominated for a pair of prizes at the Brit Awards tonight (February 19): Best British Single and Best British Video.
The singer, who is 21 and hails from Bishops Stortford in Hertfordshire, has already collected his Brits Critics’ Choice prize in a ceremony last month (January).
Smith scored another collaborative hit last year, Latch with Disclosure, which peaked at number eleven. His album In The Lonely Hour is set for release this May.
