Prince to make appearance at 2014 Brit Awards

Enigmatic pop icon Prince is to make an appearance at this week’s Brit Awards.
The Purple Rain singer is to present the first prize of the night at the ceremony – joined by his band 3RDEYEGIRL.
The singer hasn’t attended the Brits since 2006, but has recently been performing a series of surprise shows around London. Over his career, he has won five Brit Awards.
As we reported last week, Kylie Minogue will be at the Brits to present an award too, while Katy Perry, Lorde, Pharrell Williams and Ellie Goulding are among the major acts lined up to perform at the show.
The Brits will be broadcast live on February 19 on ITV.
