Naomi Campbell teams up with Diesel to launch ‘Child at Heart’ charity collection

By Joseph Kocharian

Diesel and supermodel Naomi Campbell have teamed up with her charity, Fashion For Relief, for a special partnership.

The collection, called Child at Heart, is dedicated to the welfare of children, which is one of the global initiatives the charity focuses on. There are some super cute ladybirds, and other illustrations designed by children on t-shirts and hoodies that can be bought now.

A quarter of children globally, 1.2 billion, are living in regions of developing countries that are left behind, whilst more than 230 million children have been forcibly uprooted from their homes because of crisis.

One in ten children lives in a country that has been affected by conflict, and the collection aims to highlight this global problem, with the proceeds going towards the charity.

Naomi said “Fashion For Relief works in emergency situations in conjunction with other charities on the ground. This amazing and special project will provide much needed aid and support for refugee children,” says Naomi Campbell

Nicola Formichetti, Artistic Director for Diesel said “I’m so happy that Naomi approached us to support this amazing cause. We’re very grateful that we can work together with Naomi and do good.” Set up in 2005, Fashion for Relief has raised over £4.5 million.
