Adele is gearing up to perform her first live show in three years, according to reports.

The 25-year-old singer is reportedly considering a comeback gig at London’s Royal Albert Hall to promote her eagerly-anticipated follow-up to 21, which is rumoured to be coming out in October.

A ‘source’ close to Adele apparently told the Sunday Express: “This is the most exciting and promising news fans have had from Adele for ages. She is considering a comeback gig to promote her new CD.”

“Her voice has been getting stronger over time and she has been working hard to rehabilitate it. A world tour is still a long way off, certainly a conventional series of shows,” continued the ‘source’.

“Everything will be on her terms. The key to all these plans is that Adele feels comfortable with her voice. She has vowed that she never wants to break down during a tour or put her voice through so much stress that she suffers problems. Her doctors warned her that stress could also mean more surgery, and she is adamant that she never wants to go through that again.”

Adele released her second album 21 in 2011 and it went on to become a global phenomenon, selling over 30 million copies worldwide and spawning the smash hit singles Rolling in the Deep and Someone Like You.

She previously performed at London’s Royal Albert Hall in September 2011 and the show was later released on DVD.
