This year of all years, we’re all longing for a simpler time – like when we experienced the world through animated stories in TV and film.

Thankfully, brands are leaning into the demand for nostalgia with creative homages to some of the world’s most beloved cartoon creations.

Check out three of the best fashion collaborations for unleashing your perfectly-styled inner child below:

LOEWE X MY NEIGHBOR TOTORO

This anime-zing new collaboration sees luxury designer Loewe team up with adorable anime classic ‘My Neighbour Totoro’.

The collection features vibrant scenes embodying the gorgeous Japanese-inspired mise en scene from the 1988 film, with textured knitwear bringing the animated scenery to life.

COACH X MICKEY MOUSE X KAITH HARING

This quirky new collaboration between Coach, Disney and Keith Haring has got us smiling from ear to ear.

Cheeky illustrations of Mickey Mouse have been reimagined in the style of iconic queer pop-artist Haring’s unique aesthetic.

Haring, who passed away in 1990 from Aids-related complications, dreamed of working for Disney once upon a time – making the collaboration a touching way of honouring late artist.
