Watch | Tom Daley’s back with another health and fitness video
Last week, supermarkets across the country ran out of lemons after Olympic diver Tom Daley showed us all how to use lemons to hack your body’s metabolism in his first web video around health and fitness tips.
(We’re joking about the lemons, but the video is real, you can check it out here).

Now Tom, who recently hit the headlines after posing for an intimate new photo shoot with his soon-to-be-husband Dustin Lance Black, has followed up the clip with a second video entitled ‘Once you go black…’, in which the 21-year-old explains how making a simple switch to black coffee can save on the pounds both – both in the wallet and on the waistline.
Shared across his social media accounts, the Olympic diver says that out of all the coffee options available in your local Costa or Starbucks, the “healthiest, and the easiest, and the cheapest is a regular black coffee, whether it’s a filter coffee, or an Americano”.
“Black coffee is low calorie, and it’s sugar free,” he adds.
“If you went into a coffee shop and ordered a filter coffee, it’s five calories. An Americano? 17 calories.”
While we certainly think the video alone is enough to wake us up in the morning, but we might give the switch to black coffee a shot!
