By Will Stroude
The BBC have released a nerve-wracking new Eastenders trailer ahead of the soap’s 30th anniversary next month.
Viewers will finally discover who was responsible for the death of Lucy Beale during ‘live week’, which begins on February 16.
The new trailer shows the ongoing whodunnit’s many suspects haunted by some creepy goings-on, while a ghostly Lucy Beale looks on ominously from the roof of the Queen Vic. Watch the trailer in full below:
As well as a full 30-minute live episode, all shows during the 30th anniversary week will include live scenes, as the identity of Lucy’s killer is kept under wraps.
Various former cast members have been confirmed to return as part of the celebrations, including John Partridge as Jane Beale’s brother Christian Clarke, Barbara Windsor as Peggy Mitchell and Jo Joyner as Max Branning’s ex-wife Tanya.
The cast stripped off at the end of last year for a charity calendar to raise money for Children in Need – take a look at the pictures here.
EastEnders will launch its ‘live week’ on Monday, February 16 2015.
