Lance Bass has confirmed that his forthcoming wedding will be filmed for a TV special.

The former ‘N Sync singer – who got engaged to actor Michael Turchin last year – said that their wedding will air on E! next year.

Speaking to Gay Star News at the GMCLA Voice Awards in Los Angeles, he said: “We’re filming it for an E! wedding special. It will probably air around Valentine’s Day so it has to be before Valentine’s Day I know that.

He continued: “Never in my lifetime did I think that I’d be able to get married legally. It’s just amazing how fast everything is going right now and I’m just honoured to be able to share my wedding with the world.

The 35-year-old said that he would have loved to see a gay wedding on television when he was growing up, as it would have shown him that there is “nothing wrong” with being gay.

He added that he thinks his relationship with Turchin will feel more “real” when they walk down the aisle.

“I think it’s going to be really different after we walk down the aisle – I think there’s something about that that’s going to make it so real to us. There’s probably going to be a lot of tears,” Bass explained.
