Britney Spears’ manager says the singer may never perform again following her recent mental health battle.

Earlier this year, it was reported that the iconic singer had checked herself into a mental health facility after suffering from severe emotional distress following her father’s worsening health.

Her father, Jamie Spears’ colon ruptured which required a lifesaving operation but since then he has failed to return to full health.

Britney was forced to put her Britney: Domination Las Vegas residency on hold to go and care for her father.

However, the 37 year old was set to continue rehearsals for her residency but now her long-time manager Larry Rudolph – who has represented her career from 1998 to 2004 and then 2008 onwards – says she will not be returning to the stage.

Speaking to TMZ, he said: “As the person who guides her career – based on the information I and all of the professionals who work with her are being told on a need-to-know basis – from what I have gathered it’s clear to me she should not be going back to do this Vegas residency, not in the near future and possibly never again.”
