BBC reporter calls Nigel Farage a ‘c*nt’ live on air

BBC News reporter Norman Smith made an unfortunate slip of the tongue during a live report about UKIP leader Nigel Farage this morning.

Speaking about the instability that has rocked the far-right party since last week’s election, Smith stumbled over the word ‘cult’ when detailing the growing unrest about Farage:

“The party’s economic spokesman suggested that those around Mr Farage had turned him into a snarling, thin-skinned, aggressive man, and that there was a danger of the party turning into an absolutist monarchy or personality c*nt, and – CULT!”
