Attitude editor Matthew Todd nominated for Stonewall’s ‘Journalist of the Decade’
By Will Stroude

We thrilled that Attitude’s editor Matthew Todd is up for the coveted ‘Journalist of the Decade’ award at tonight’s Stonewall Awards ceremony in London.
The 10th annual Stonewall Awards will honour the individuals and organisations that have made outstanding contributions to the lives of lesbian, gay, bi and trans people over the past decade – and this year will be the star-studded event’s last.
Matthew has been at the helm of Attitude since May 2008, helping create some of the magazine’s most notable milestones, including 2008’s Youth Issue with Stonewall, 2010’s ‘Issues’ Issue, and most recently the Attitude Pride Awards.
He’ll be up against some of the best LGBT journalists in the country at tonight’s event, including Dr. Miriam Stoppard, Buzzfeed’s Patrick Strudwick, Chavs author and political commentator Owen Jones and invesitgative TV reporter Liz MacKean – we wish him the best of luck!
Other categories at this year’s Stonewall Awards include Publication, Entertainer and Writer of the Decade as well as a very special Lifetime Achievement Award, while Gok Wan, Russell T Davies, Sandi Toksvig, Bethany Black and Lord John Browne will all join the charity as part of this year’s judging panel.
