Zac Efron says he never wants to look the way he looked in ‘Baywatch’ again

"It's just stupid. It's just not real."

Zac Efron turned even more heads than usual when he revealed his ridiculously shredded physique in 2017’s action-comedy Baywatch, but the Hollywood star has admitted he hopes he never has to recreate that particular beach body ever again.

Efron, 32, says the lengths he had to undergo in order to get his body to look like that were “stupid”, and “not real”, and said the time would be better spent taking care of your mind and soul.

“I realised, when I was done with that movie, that I don’t ever want to be in that good of shape again,” the former High School Musical star said during a recent appearance on  YouTube series ‘Hot Ones’.

“It was so hard. You’re working with almost no wiggle room. You’ve got things like water under your skin that you’re worrying about, making your six-pack into a four-pack, shit like that.

“It’s just stupid. It’s just not real. I’m happy that it worked, I’m happy that it got me through it.”

Efron, whose most recent big screen appearance came in last year’s Ted Bundy biopic Extremely Wicked, Shockingly Evil and Vile, sdded: “Take care of your heart, take care of your brain, you’re good.”
