Watch the incredible moment Britney Spears realises Ryan Seacrest isn’t gay mid-interview

Coming out is something most of us know the ins and outs of. Plucking up the courage to tell our nearest and dearest, preparing yourself for the shock of it all, and of course the looks of surprise when someone you tell wasn’t expecting it.
Okay, maybe some of us can’t relate to that last one. But you get the gist.
Either way, one thing we’re far less used to is seeing shock creep over someone’s face when they’re told that someone they know is straight.
But it looks as though the tables may be turning, after a 2012 video that’s recently re-emerged shows how Britney Spears, who’s back with her new album Glory on August 26, was more than a little startled to discover that American presenter Ryan Seacrest was in fact straight.
In the hilarious clip, Ms Spears mouths “girls?” to friend and collaborator will.i.am as Seacrest reminisces about bringing girls back to his place after dates.
The ‘Make Me (Ooh)’ singer, who recently forgot she’d ever met Taylor Swift, looked visibly stunned by the realisation, and couldn’t stifle her laughter at realizing the American Idol host wasn’t gay.
