Watch | If Kylie did the John Lewis Christmas ad…
By Will Stroude

Whisper it, but the John Lewis Christmas ad was a bit of an anti-climax this year, wasn’t it? Aurora’s cover of Oasis’ ‘Half the World Away’ hasn’t exactly set the charts alright, and as much we love the tale of the man on the moon, it’s not the ‘The Bear and the Hare’.
Well, some particularly crazy committed Kylie fans have decided to improve on the original the only way they know how: by axing poor Aurora from proceedings altogether and replacing her with Kylie’s recent James Corden duet, ‘Only You’, taken from the 47-year-old’s brand new album Kylie Christmas.
As the internet branded the remix “a million percent better” than the official version, the video was picked up by Ms Minogue herself, who quickly gave it her own seal of approval (#RIPAurora).

Well Kylie, there’s plenty of time for talks before next year’s edition.
Meanwhile, the Aussie pop princess took to the stage for her first TV duet with little sister Dannii in almost 30 years earlier this week, and the result was as fabulously camp-tastic as you’d expect – click here to check it out.
