Daniel Radcliffe has spoken about the speculation surrounding his sexuality.

The actor said that people speculating about whether you are gay is a good sign that you have made it in the entertainment industry.

He explained to The Guardian that “alcoholic”, “gay” and “girlfriend” are the top three search terms that accompany his name.

He added: “I’m pleased my girlfriend [now] comes up before alcoholic or gay.”

The Harry Potter actor said that he got “annoyed for about a half a minute” about the speculation surrounding his sexuality, but soon realised that it is something that comes with the territory of being in the public eye.

“If people are speculating about your sexuality, then you’re doing OK [laughs],” Radcliffe said.

The actor recently revealed that he has no problems with on-screen nudity following his skinny-dipping scene in romantic comedy What Ifread more here.
