Megan Mullally on the ‘Will & Grace’ reunion: ‘It was like no time had passed’

By Fabio Crispim

Earlier this week the internet went into break-down when the cast of NBC’s Will & Grace reunited for a brand new mini-episode.

The video featured the old cast of Eric McCormack, Debra Messing, Sean Hayes and Megan Mullally as well as a cameo from Shelly Morrison who reprised her role as the feisty maid Rosario.

The 10-minute short sees the gang discuss who they’re supporting in the upcoming vote and try to win round the “undecided, uneducated angry white man”, Jack (Hayes).

Now Megan Mullally, who plays Karen Walker in the famous comedy, has revealed what it was like returning to the show in an interview with People.

She started, “First of all, I wasn’t wearing a bra.”

“And second of all, the whole thing felt like we’d just gone on hiatus for a week and we’d just come back. It was just like no time had passed. It was so effortless and fun. We just snapped right back into it, and we were laughing and having a blast.”

“It was unbelievable,” Mullally added. “We went into the studio where we were going to shoot it, and there was the real set with every throw pillow and tchotchke just as it had been. We walked around and were flipping out. It’s hard to explain, but it’s kind of a contradictory process of being flipped out and excited but also feeling totally normal. It was as if we had just been there.”

We can only hope this is a sign of greater things to come.
