Listen: Miley Cyrus releases ballad from gay rights drama Freeheld

She may have gone down a completely different avenue with her Dead Petz album earlier this year, but Miley Cyrus is back with a more conventional pop ballad.
The star’s new song Hands Of Love comes in support of new gay rights drama Freehold, starring Julianne Moore and Ellen Page as real-life couple Lauren Hester and Stacie Andree.
Hands Of Love was penned by Linda perry and was released yesterday (October 2) to digital retailers and streaming services worldwide.

Listen to it below. Quite nice, isn’t it?:
Freeheld, which comes following the 2007 Oscar-winning documentary about Hester and Andree’s battle for pension benefits for same-sex couples, was released in the US yesterday (October 2).
No UK release date appears to be confirmed as yet.
