Lisa Kudrow’s ‘The Comeback’ set for a comeback?

Lisa Kudrow’s 2005 show The Comeback, which helped launch the career of Twilight hunk Kellan Lutz, is set for a comeback on HBO, according to Deadline.
The show ran for one season on HBO, before being cancelled by the network due to low ratings. Kudrow earned an Emmy nomination for her performance as struggling sitcom actress Valerie Cherish during the show’s first run.
Earlier this year, Michael Patrick King, who created the show with Kudrow, hinted at a return, saying: “Lisa and I actually have had a couple of lunches lately where we’ve been missing Valerie and wondering where she’d be,” he said. “That’s just a creative exploration Lisa and I are doing.”
The Comeback was a ‘mockumentary’ centered on Kudrow’s character Valerie Cherish, whose attempts at a television comeback were being documented in a reality show. It was the first TV show the actress starred in after iconic sitcom Friends ended a year earlier.
Since The Comeback was cancelled, Kudrow has appeared in films including Easy A and P.S I Love You, as well as TV shows like Scandal and Web Therapy.
HBO have yet to comment on the reports.
