The Emmy-winner continued: “Through love, light and laughter, they remind all of us that the most powerful thing you can do is to become the image of your own imagination.”

RuPaul’s Drag Race debuted in 2009 on Logo. Since then, the show has spawned Australian, Spanish and Thai iterations.

According to VH1, the Drag Race season 13 premiere was the most watched episode in franchise history. The season wrapped earlier this year, with Symone snatching the crown.

The first season of RuPaul’s Secret Celebrity Drag Race ran across four episodes last year, with Drag Race fan favourites making over stars such as Vanessa Williams and Hayley Kiyoko.
