Disney’s ‘Hercules’ is getting a live action remake
'I Won't Say I'm In Love' gays, our time is now.

As Disney has continued to greenlight live action remakes of some of its most iconic animated films, there has been one glaring omission from the roster: until now.
Yep, according the The DisInsider, Walt Disney Studios are finally giving the gays everything they want with a live action remake of 1997’s Hercules, aka one of the best-soundtracked Disney films of all time.
The studio has reportedly enlisted Jeffery Silver (The Lion King, Tron: Legacy) and Karen Gilchrist (The Lion King, The Mandalorian) to produce the movie, which is expected to get a full theatrical release over the Disney+-only treatment afforded to the recent remake of Lady and the Tramp.
With bangers like ‘The Gospel Truth’, ‘Zero to Hero’ and the heartbreaking ‘I Won’t Say I’m in Love’, Herculues defied an intially lukewarm box office reception to become one of the most successful Disney animated features of the last 25 years.
The retelling of the classic Greek myth featured the voice of Tate Donovan as Hercules, James Woods as Hades, and Danny DeVito as Phil. It also featured Broadway star Susan Egan as Megara, who provided us with one of Disney’s most underrated anthems in the form of ‘I Won’t Say I’m In Love’ (no, we won’t stop going on about it).
Of course, the only question now is which five women will be cast as the eternally-sassy Muses. Now that’s a supergroup we need to see…
