The studio has reportedly enlisted Jeffery Silver (The Lion King, Tron: Legacy) and Karen Gilchrist (The Lion King, The Mandalorian) to produce the movie, which is expected to get a full theatrical release over the Disney+-only treatment afforded to the recent remake of Lady and the Tramp.

It also featured Broadway star Susan Egan as Megara, who provided us with one of Disney’s most underrated anthems in the form of ‘I Won’t Say I’m In Love’ (no, we won’t stop going on about it).
