Cher claims her dyslexia makes her ‘simpatico’ with the LGBT community

By Fabio Crispim

Cher has always claimed of having a deep connection with the LGBT community, but it seems she’s finally offered an explanation as to why, according to Gay Star News.

Appearing at another Hilary Clinton fundraiser ealier this week, the ‘Believe’ singer claimed that her dyslexia is the reason she feels so connected with the LGBT people.

Speaking at event in New York City she said, “I understand, and I think this is a thing that I share with my gay brothers and sisters, that I understand shame-for-no-reason.”

“I understand trying to overcome what you shouldn’t have to overcome, something that’s just natural, that we are, the people who we are, the colours that we are.”

Cher has been supporting Democratic nominee Hilary Clinton in the lead up to the Election next week. It seems however, that Cher couldn’t help but mention Republican nominee Donald Trump at the event.

“Donald Trump just comes to my mind and it’s just like, I drama-queen out – I’m not kidding. I tried really hard not to say horrible things about him, but I can’t help myself…”

Cher then added, “He doesn’t mean, ‘Let’s make America great again,’ he means, ‘Let’s make American straight and white again.'”
