Adam Lambert unveils new single ‘Welcome to the Show’

Adam Lambert has announced his next single will be ‘Welcome to the Show’, which features Swedish singer Laleh.

Lambert will give the song’s premiere performance on American Idol this Thursday (March 17), the same day it gets a global release on iTunes.

Of the track, which was recorded in New York on a day off from his Original High Tour, Adam says: “I wanted to surprise my fans with a new, uplifting anthem for the spring.”

The 34-year-old adds: “I asked Max Martin for help and he paired me up with Ali Payami who worked with me on ‘Ghost Town’ and Swedish star Laleh who is also featured on the track. I feel this song will give people strength to be exactly who they are.”
